The Wollaton Walled Garden Project is a community-led effort, coordinated by Friends of Wollaton Park, to restore the 4-acre walled garden at Wollaton Hall in Nottingham, England.

We are looking for a Volunteer Lead who can coordinate the volunteers on a day to basis.

The group of 30 or so volunteers tend to different areas – growing vegetates, tending to plants and flowers, restoration and conservation tasks etc. and the Lead will help ensure this flows nicely i.e. ensuring new volunteers know where to go and what to help with. The lead will have a good broad understanding of what’s been done each week to help ensure help is where it’s most needed.

The Lead will run inductions on 121 basis with new volunteers, going over signing in protocols, health and safety and any other information they need to know.

The Lead will also have regulars catch up with Management at Wollaton Hall.

Must be available Tuesday and Thursday for minimum of 2 hours from 10am.
