Our Learning & Education service offers a huge variety of curriculum-based, facilitated workshops for school pupils of all ages as well as school trips, sleepovers, teacher training and bespoke projects.

Family workshops

Our learning & education team have a range of family workshops that are open to all children keen to learn about dinosaurs and palaeontology. During the summer holidays, the family sessions include Become a Dinosaur, Become a Palaeontolgist and Become a Palaeo-artist.

Teacher-Led Sessions

Bring your school group for a great learning experience, exploring Wollaton Hall, from its Elizabethan rooms to its Natural History Museum, or our great outdoors. Following a warm welcome, you’ll have access to our site for the day as well as a base for your bags and coats, a space to eat your lunch and a tour for just £5 per pupil.

Access Artefacts is the handling collection for Nottingham Museums and contains objects covering a range of themes, including social history, archaeology, geology, industrial history and the natural sciences.
