Our Learning & Education service offers a huge variety of curriculum-based, facilitated workshops for school pupils of all ages as well as school trips, sleepovers, teacher training and bespoke projects.

Join us Tuesday 24th May 2022 to meet professionals engaged in scientific research on T. rex and other prehistoric life with talks & workshops and meet Titus, King of the Dinosaurs, with our Titus: T. rex is King exhibition too.

Family workshops

Our learning & education team have a range of family workshops that are open to all children keen to learn about dinosaurs and palaeontology. During the summer holidays, the family sessions include Become a Palaeontolgist and Become a Palaeo-artist.

Teacher-Led Sessions

Bring your school group for a great learning experience, exploring Wollaton Hall, from its Elizabethan rooms to its Natural History Museum, or our great outdoors. Following a warm welcome, you’ll have access to our site for the day as well as a base for your bags and coats, a space to eat your lunch and a tour for just £5 per pupil.

Access Artefacts is the handling collection for Nottingham Museums and contains objects covering a range of themes, including social history, archaeology, geology, industrial history and the natural sciences.
