As per the latest government regulations, see our facilities available and extra measures we’re taking so you can enjoy your visit.
Thursday 28th January: The exit gate on Wollaton Road will be closed due to maintenance on the cattle grid. All visitors accessing by car will be requested to enter / exit via the entrance gate on Wollaton Road.
Live in Nottingham? We encourage everyone to walk or cycle to the park rather than by car, where possible, as this not only helps the environment, though keeps roads clear for the emergency services & keyworkers. All ways we can keep each other & the park safe.
Our Learning & Education service offers a huge variety of curriculum-based, facilitated workshops for school pupils of all ages as well as school trips, sleepovers, teacher training and bespoke projects.

From Art & Design to History and Nature, choose from a wide range of curriculum-linked workshops designed to help you and your school make the most of Wollaton Hall & Deer Park. All charges are based on a minimum of 20 pupils. For schools visiting with fewer numbers, please contact us.

Bring your school group for a great learning experience, exploring Wollaton Hall, from its Elizabethan rooms to its Natural History Museum, or our great outdoors. Following a warm welcome, you’ll have access to our site for the day as well as a base for your bags and coats, a space to eat your lunch and a tour for just £5 per pupil.
Access Artefacts is the handling collection for Nottingham Museums and contains objects covering a range of themes, including social history, archaeology, geology, industrial history and the natural sciences.
We’re pleased to say we have the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge, recommended by the Department for Education.
