Come and learn about…

Local history study: Using original Tudor kitchens for the preparation and storage of food

In this session:

  • Mistress Peabody is our guide to Tudor kitchens as she details the new and exotic food Sir Willoughby’s great wealth affords him
  • Children wear Tudor costumes, turn the spit over the fireplace and learn kitchen roles and responsibilities
    Explore the treasure in the Tudor spice box before making pomanders to take home

Duration: 1.5 hours | 10.30am -12noon or 1pm – 2.30pm

Cost per session: £5 per child
