A new book on Wollaton Park is to be published next month as part of the WHaCS ‘Your Wollaton’ series. The book has been written by Colin Robbins who is a long-standing ranger at Wollaton Park and active member of The Friends of Wollaton Park, as well as being a member of WHaCS. It traces the park’s evolution from medieval farmland and private hunting estate into the cherished public park and nature reserve we know today.
A launch for the book is to take place at Wollaton Hall omn

The launch will be attended by The Sheriff of Nottingham. A drinks reception will be followed by a talk from the author.
Tickets are £5 (plus booking fee if purchased online) and are available via the link below, or in person at this month’s meeting. The book will retail at £9 but is available to members for £7.50.
