In this session:
- It’s 1588, Francis Willoughby celebrates his first Christmas at Wollaton Hall. A great party is planned – with feasting, music, singing, dancing and ‘Mummers play’ – as the children help with preparations and learn about Tudor traditions
- Mistress Underne teaches Tudor dance for the children to perform to Sir Francis
- Master Cam explains mid-winter traditions
- Mistress Peabody introduces Tudor foods and makes pomanders in the Tudor kitchens
Duration: 4 hours – 10.30am – 2.30pm
