Wollaton Hall & Natural History Museum

Admission to Titus: T. rex is King exhibition & Natural History Museum galleries (Daily: 11 am – 3.30 pm), includes weekdays, weekends & bank holidays.

Hidden History Tours (Daily: 11 am & 2 pm). Discover the Prospect Room and Tudor Kitchens with a behind the scenes look of hidden rooms & corridors of Wollaton Hall.

Fairytale outdoor trail

Explore the formal gardens & discover more with our fairytale themed outdoor trail for children.

Available for £2 at all till points (Shop, café and Hall).



Activity run by our volunteers for little ones.

Dates: 4th Sunday of each month

Time: 12 pm – 2 pm

Price: Standard Hall Admission applies (parking charges apply – adult supervision required – first come first served)

Alongside our Titus: T. rex is King exhibition and Hidden History Tours, we have Tudor Kitchens available each Sunday, with our volunteers on hand to share about Tudors in the Hall.

Giant lawn games & deck chairs

Our team and volunteers often bring out giant lawn games for visitors to enjoy on the formal gardens lawn.

The games include chess, croquet, archery and skittles – along with table tennis in our courtyard.

Days: Mondays & Tuesdays in August

Time: 11 am – 3 pm

With over 500 acres of parkland there is space for everyone to enjoy a picnic across the grounds – simply bring yourselves, a rug, food and be ready for fun!


Food delights to takeaway

Indulge on your picnic with takeaway cakes, treats and children’s lunch boxes in our café and giant picnic tables near the courtyard.

Enjoy a stroll in the Formal Gardens with our newly planted red, white & blue flowers delicately arranged by our parks team & volunteers in honour to the year of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee 2022.

With 500 acres of parkland, which is home to all kinds of habitats, including grassland, wetland and woodland, there’s plenty of parkland to explore with friends & family on a big adventure!
