Join us for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June!
In honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee extended bank holiday and the school holidays, we are hosting a wide range of events & activities to ensure a great day out in June!

Hall light up
In honour of the Platinum Jubilee, we will light up the Hall on the evenings of Thursday 2nd June – Sunday 5th June ’22 to begin celebrations.

Floral montage in the Formal Gardens
Enjoy a stroll in the Formal Gardens with our newly planted red, white & blue flowers delicately arranged by our parks team & volunteers in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Go big with your picnic!
We will have some giant deck chairs available in the Formal Gardens for you to relax.
With over 500 acres of parkland there is space for everyone to enjoy a picnic across the grounds – simply bring yourselves, a rug, food and be ready for fun!

Giant outdoor games
There will be giant games out in the Formal Gardens, to entertain you as part of your picnic with friends & family.
The games include chess, connect 4, croquet, archery and skittles – along with table tennis in our courtyard.

Food delights to takeaway
Indulge on your picnic, with takeaway boxes for cakes & treats and specialty drinks in our cafés, and children’s boxes to keep kids fed & entertained too.

Available for £2 at all entrance points (cafés, shops and Hall).

Activities in the Hall
Alongside our Titus: T. rex is King exhibition and Hidden History Tours, we will have Tudor Kitchens available during the weekend to keep kids entertained in the Hall.
