Get outdoors, learn and use skills that help to manage our habitats for wildlife, and meet new friends.

As one of our Conservation Volunteers you will be working closely with our Ranger Team to create and maintain different habitats across our parks and open spaces for wildlife.

Every Thursday from 9.30 am to 12noon. Meet at the red phone box by the car park.

What you will be doing

  • Assisting with various ad hoc task days/events as required
  • Tasks include caring for our wildlife habitats, fencing maintenance, clearing pathways, lake work, tree planting etc.
  • The skills you need

    • Enthusiasm for Wollaton Park and gardens
    • Friendly and approachable
    • Physically able to access uneven ground and often-heavy vegetation
