Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th January – The platform lift is unavailable today and tomorrow at the front of the Hall. The main Hall lift (that accesses all floors) is still available via the West Entrance at the lakeside of the Hall.

The Formal Gardens are now open as normal, along with the remainder of the Park, Grounds & Hall. Wollaton Park is closed to the public until 1pm on Tuesday 20th January and Tuesday 10th February 2026 for essential maintenance.

Palaeoart – Depicting Dinosaurs

In this session:

  • Work with a professional palaeoartist, to explore how we use science to make accurate depictions of prehistoric animals.
  • Look at fossils to see what clues they give us about the animals and plants that existed millions of years ago and use your discoveries to make your own artwork.

When: Available from March 2025

Cost per session: £10 per head includes gallery access, lunchroom and bag storage
