Steaming Day

at Nottingham Industrial Museum

Once a month, join us to see the engines in action, and travel back to a time when steam and diesel engines powered the nation’s factories! The Engine Hall is a delight for young and old alike, filled with heritage engines dating back to the Industrial Revolution…

See the Basford Beam, an engine that used to pump drinking water for the city of Nottingham, mill engines that powered factory machines, and two ploughing engines!

Discover a world of industrial progress at the NIM!
