Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th January – The platform lift is unavailable today and tomorrow at the front of the Hall. The main Hall lift (that accesses all floors) is still available via the West Entrance at the lakeside of the Hall.

The Formal Gardens are now open as normal, along with the remainder of the Park, Grounds & Hall. Wollaton Park is closed to the public until 1pm on Tuesday 20th January and Tuesday 10th February 2026 for essential maintenance.

Come and learn about…

Science: Working scientifically; how organisms affect, and are affected by, their environment, including the accumulation of toxic materials.

In this session:

  • Collect litter from around the lake in Wollaton Park
  • Investigate its effect on wildlife, including looking at micro plastics and their effects on animal and human health and welfare.
