Want to spend more time outdoors learning about conservation?

Get outdoors, learn and use skills that help to manage our habitats for wildlife, and meet new friends.

Assist our Parks staff with our monthly group conservation days. Tasks vary according to what needs doing at any particular time of the year.

Dates: Weekly from Thur 7 Oct
Timings: All sessions run 10am – 12noon
Meet at the red phone box by the car park

Prefer a bit of light gardening? Put those green fingers to use in our formal gardens every Wednesday morning from 10am – 12pm. Join us in tending to our beautiful formal beds, some light weeding, edging, planting and chatting with our visitors about the historic gardens. There’s also opportunity to help with tasks such as bench painting and cleaning the Camellia house windows.

You can join us every week or just drop in when you can. The meeting point is the front of the Camellia House.
