Discover the Deer Birthing Season: Important Visitor Notice:  All dogs to be kept on leads throughout Wollaton Hall & Deer Park during May to July. For everyone’s safety, please avoid Digby Avenue and Lime Tree Avenue when walking dogs. These areas are used by female deer to give birth and hide their young. Your cooperation helps protect the deer, your pets, and all visitors. 

Saturday 18th – Sunday 19th July – Splendour Festival is happening at Wollaton Hall & Deer Park. Please be aware that ALL Wollaton visitors with vehicles will need to enter the site via Lime Tree Avenue (located off Middleton Boulevard (Ring Road) – using sat nav NG8 1BT – this will be the only vehicle entrance permitted during the weekend. There is event parking charges (£15 per day / £25 for 2 days) in place for all visitors to Wollaton Hall & Deer Park, and the site will be busy with festival infrastructure in place & the courtyard closed. 

Peapods & Gillyflower : Tudor Textiles Exhibition will be closed on Saturday 1st, Thursday 6th & Saturday 8th August due to a wedding in the Hall.

Once again, Ganesh ji is coming to Nottingham during GANESHOTSAV.

The big day “VISARJAN” ceremony is performed at Wollaton Park with lots of music and fun for all ages.

Date : Friday 25th September 2026

Arrive by : 5.30 pm

Procession starts at: 6.00 pm

PRICE: £2.35 per person (includes booking fee) – Pre-booked tickets in advance apply.

Typically these events sell out quickly. No tickets sold on the day.

Meeting point: The courtyard (near parking at the top), Wollaton Park

The big day “VISARJAN” ceremony is performed at Wollaton Park with lots of music and fun for all ages.

Special Marathi Dhol players will also grace the occasion during the full procession from the Courtyard to the lake, followed by Food/Prasad.

Entry is on a first come first served basis in line with venue capacity, hence tickets must be booked in advance. £2.35 per ticket (includes booking fee).
