If buying the Tour Ticket online alongside a new ‘Annual Pass’ than the 50% discount will apply in the ‘Basket’ when both the Tour and Annual Pass items are added.
The tour is strenuous with many steps and uneven surfaces, due to the historic nature of the locations it will be difficult to access for people with pre-existing medical conditions or limited mobility. It is unsuitable for under 3’s.
To arrange accessibility access for a tour, email wollaton.hall@nottinghamcity.gov.uk (3 working days) in advance. Before booking your ticket, we can update on the tour route that is most suitable for access and arrange necessary adjustments to the tour. For example, the route to the Prospect Room includes a narrow staircase spiral staircase, so would generally not be included in an accessible tour. The full tour includes up to 300 steps.
This tour is recommended for children 6 +, therefore if looking for an experience for young children with Santa & Elves, please consider our ‘Santa’s 12 Days of Christmas‘ experience, which is designed for younger audiences and runs weekends (Saturday 28th November – Sunday 20th December)
Important Information
Entrance: The Hall’s main entrance. Please allow extra time for your visit up to 15 minutes before your entry time.
Accessibility: The indoor route does include steps throughout, as it takes visitors on a route of the Hall’s below stairs. We would encourage visitors to avoid bringing prams or buggies, where possible. We may request them to be stored in an indoor holding area upon arrival – this is due to the historical nature of the building. The ‘Yuletide Hidden History Tour ‘ is indoor within the basement of Wollaton Hall.
Email us at wollaton.hall@nottinghamcity.gov.uk before booking for any queries or accessibility requirements, and we would be happy to help.
