Music in the Park
CommuniTree Festival returns to Wollaton Hall & Deer Park for a day of global music, workshops, creativity and community. Join us in one of Nottingham’s most beautiful green spaces for live music, dance, family activities and hands-on workshops for all ages.

Pre-booked tickets: £2.35 (inc. booking fee)
On the day tickets: £5.50 (inc. booking fee) – subject to availability and not guaranteed- only attend site if you have been able to purchase a ticket online.
Typically these events sell out quickly, any additional walk up tickets are not guaranteed and are subject to venue capacity decided on the day.
Performing Artists
This year’s line-up includes Kellys Heroes, Batch Gueye, Blu.PrnT with Koko Kolly, Akolá Tambó and Nachda Sansaar, bringing sounds from Celtic traditions, West African Griot music, Afro-Colombian rhythms, Nottingham’s young creative scene and bhangra beats.
Creative Workshops
Take part in drumming, dance, singing, visual arts, West African Griot songs in the yurt, bachata and salsa, belly dance, capoeira, smoothie making, yoga, handpan and hula hooping.
Come to listen, move, make, relax, connect and celebrate creativity, culture and community in the heart of Wollaton Park. or simply take a breather in our relaxed chill-out zone, perfect for a little festival time-out.

Kellys Heroes

Celtic
Kellys Heroes brings fast-moving Celtic tunes, Irish and Scottish folk songs, jigs, reels and gentle ballads from Nottingham’s much-loved folk scene.
Blu. Prnt feat Koko Kolly
1.15 pm – 1.45 pm
Blu.PrnT joins forces with Koko Kolly to showcase Nottingham’s young creative talent, blending live music, Afro RnB, improvisation and fresh sounds from the city’s next generation.
Akolá Tombó
2 pm – 3 pm
Afro-Columbian
Akolá Tambó brings the ancestral Afro-Colombian rhythms of bullerengue to the stage, blending drums, dance, song and collective joy from the Caribbean coast of Colombia.
Batch Gueye
3.15 pm – 4.15 pm
Sabar / West African / Baye Fall
Batch Gueye brings soulful Senegalese Griot music, with powerful vocals, rhythm, dance and storytelling from the heart of West Africa.
Nachda Sansaar
4.20 pm – 5 pm
Bhangra / South Asia
Nachda Sansaar closes the festival with traditional Punjabi Bhangra dance, dhol beats and joyful movement.

The event will feature a global marketplace, with a variety of food stalls, music, and entertainment for all ages. Visitors can enjoy a full afternoon of performances, creative workshops, and cultural experiences. Charges for food and stalls apply.
This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event and we kindly ask that no meat is brought or sold on site. Vegetarian and Vegan meals will be available to purchase. You’re very welcome to bring your own picnic and enjoy it in the grounds.
Location: Formal Gardens in Wollaton Park – entrance in front of the Hall.
Parking: Any standard parking area on site, the nearest is the over spill car park directly opposite the event. Parking charges apply.
