Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th January – The platform lift is unavailable today and tomorrow at the front of the Hall. The main Hall lift (that accesses all floors) is still available via the West Entrance at the lakeside of the Hall.

The Formal Gardens are now open as normal, along with the remainder of the Park, Grounds & Hall. Wollaton Park is closed to the public until 1pm on Tuesday 20th January and Tuesday 10th February 2026 for essential maintenance.

Come and learn about…

Science: Identify and name a variety of plants and animals in their habitats.

English, Spoken Language: Acquire a wide vocabulary, listen and respond

Art and Design: Use a range of materials creatively to design and make products

In this session:

  • Go on a scavenger hunt and collect items from the woods to create your own boggart
  • Create a story around the creature you have made

Duration: 1.5 hours | 10.30am–12pm or 1pm–2.30pm

Cost per session: £10 per head includes gallery access, lunchroom and bag storage
